Responsible for production schedules, quality standards, continuous improvement and cost standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct the Coach and/or Team Leader and support staff of his department. Develop departmental goals and objectives. Evaluate goals by measuring continuous improvement of production cost, quality of product, safety, individual performance, housekeeping and preventive maintenance maintenance program. Requisition new and replacement personnel, approve new hires and recommend reprimands/dismissals to HR. Prepare capital budgets. Possess excellent communication skills and ability to work well with all levels of personnel. Must be computer proficient. Must be a problem solver. Assign work, perform performance appraisals, discipline and resolve conflicts.A Bachelor’s degree desirable.A mechanical background and experience in manufacturing required. Candidates must have training in lean manufacturing. Must be able to motivate personnel in a work team environment.

Will oversee maintenance budgeting, manning needs and scheduling of projects and manning. Establish preventative maintenance program. RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs all maintenance personnel. Oversees the energy management program. Adhere to OSHA regulations. Contributes to cost reduction/avoidance programs. Writes AR’s, supervises equipment rebuilds, new installations and major modifications and re-designs equipment operation. Possess excellent communication skills and ability to work well with all levels of personnel. Must be computer proficient. Must be a problem solver. Assign work, perform performance appraisals, discipline and resolve conflicts. Assist in Plant safety, security and fire protection programs. Maintain facilities utilities including HVAC, compressed air, water and electrical.A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 10 years experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance of Plant systems and equipment required.

Assist in the preparation of manufacturing labor and overhead budgets. Audit of Engineering changes before they go into live cost system. Assist in preparation of operating budgets. Analyze material price variances. Reporting of raw, work-in-process and finished goods inventories. Maintain cost accounting records and data, including journal entries that are prepared monthly. Assist in reconciliation of physical inventories. Accuracy and timeliness in completion of assigned tasks a must. Maintenance of cost accounting records compatible with accepted accounting practice and corporate audit policy. Chosen candidate will Coach the Managers on maintaining department budgets. Manufacturing and scheduling background is a necessity. B.S. in Accounting or equivalent experienceAt least five (5) years’ experience in manufacturing Cost Accounting is required.
